Job Description: Mover
Salary:
- Casual/Part-time Position
- Rate to be determined upon experience
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid Saskatchewan Driver’s Licence
- Class 5 License or higher (higher preferred)
- Experience in driving a large or oversized vehicle, including towing a trailer
- Experience in moving furniture or large objects between locations, or similar physical work
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Shows Initiative, and has good communication skills
- Able to make practical decisions when faced with challenges
- Must be punctual, reliable, and a team player
- Able to pack consignor items in a secure way for transporting
- Assist the driver with loading and unloading vehicles and trailers
- Knowledge on how to properly lift, carry, and move heavier items
- Document each moving trip using the standard Moving Form
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
- Can be physically demanding
- Fast-paced environment
- Lift and carry up to 40 to 50 lbs
